This is a combat-only demo of the upcoming open world space adventure, Free Stars: Children of Infinity, a crowdfunded sequel to the 30 year old cult classic The Ur-Quan Masters (once known as Star Control II). Players each control one of a fleet of dozens of unique ships with different weapons and abilities. The final game also includes a deep and nuanced story, conversations with dozens of different aliens, exploration, customization, and resource-gathering.
Pistol Shrimp Games is run by the former leads of Toys For Bob, creators of the Skylanders franchise, now fully independent and working on the sequel to the classic franchise they originated 30 years ago.
